STILLWATER — The rattles and clanks of ongoing construction couldn't muffle the excitement in Haley Woodard's voice.
Sunday, the Oklahoma State women's soccer team will get to play in its revamped stadium for the first time in its season-opening nonconference match against Oklahoma, and the thought made Woodard, a senior forward, nearly bounce in place. Although construction on the complex is ongoing, Woodard said the Cowgirls have practically grown accustomed to the noise after also dealing with it last season en route to a Big 12 title.
“It's like we're home again,” she said. “I think it's gonna be weird when we don't have construction.
