The Oklahoma State equestrian team advanced to the Big 12 final after defeating TCU 12-7.
As the wind swept through the bleachers filled with buzzing fans, and hoofs kicked up clouds of dirt a few hundred feet in front of them, the Oklahoma State equestrian team galloped its way through TCU and the first round of the Big 12 Championship with a 12-7 victory Friday to secure a spot in Saturday’s final.
“It’s a great feeling,” senior captain Paris Nottingham said. “That’s something we’ve talked about since we did our team retreat at the beginning of the year.
