The Oklahoma State equestrian team won both events in Fresno, California, on Friday and Saturday.
The Cowgirls began their two-day western excursion on Friday night against No. 4 SMU. The two teams split the first event of the evening thanks to wins from Carly Barrick and Abigail Brayman. Harley Huff scored a 75 to give No. 5 OSU their only point in the Horsemanship category. After the first two events, the Cowgirls trailed 4-3. Equitation over Fences and Reining began at noon Saturday. The intermission proved favorable for OSU. The Cowgirls scored five points to SMU’s two. The Mustangs’ Jill Pfisthner had a chance to tie the match at 7 entering the final ride of the competition.
