The Oklahoma State softball team picked up a pair of conference victories over Kansas on Thursday in Lawrence, Kansas.
The Cowgirls edged the Jayhawks 2-1 in the opener and then recorded a 7-0 win in the second game of the doubleheader at Arrocha Ballpark.
OSU (27-11, 6-2 in Big 12 play), won the first game in nine innings. Samantha Clakley pitched 7.2 innings while Logan Simunek got the final four outs in the circle and improved to 7-3 on the season.
Chelsea Alexander scored the winning run as she raced home from second base in the top of the ninth after Maddi Holcomb lined a ball through the first baseman's legs.
