Twelve games in and the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team already has a season defining win.
Led by Brittney Martin’s 26 points and gritty defense, Oklahoma State upset the number four and undefeated Baylor Bears in the conference opener for both teams. The Bears came into the game 13-0 and on a five game winning streak over OSU. Baylor, who has won the past four Big 12 championships, found themselves trailing for most of the game and went down three at halftime. The Oklahoma State lead got as high as nine in the second half, but Baylor went on a late run in the fourth quarter to get within one under the six minute mark.
