The Oklahoma State softball team picked up its third Big 12 series victory after a doubleheader sweep against Kansas on Thursday in Lawrence, Kansas.
OSU (27-11) won 2-1 in nine innings during the first game while grabbing a 7-0 victory in the night cap.
Chelsea Alexander scored the winning run off an error from KU's first baseman in the ninth. Logan Simunek picked up the win, throwing 2 1/3 innings in relief for starting pitcher Samantha Clakley.
The Cowgirl offense was outhit 9-6 in the first game, but they tallied 12 hits in the second game.
