In Oklahoma State’s 75-63 win against SMU, the Cowgirls found themselves needing consistency because of the Mustangs’ stellar first half 3-point shooting.
SMU’s success shooting threes replicated the concern’s Alabama exposed a few days earlier. The Cowgirls defending on the perimeter needs improvement. OSU coach Jim Littell said he could live with teams making threes if they earn it.
“We did a better job,” Littell said. “I can live with that, and they shot it well and sometimes you just got to tip your cap to people and realize they hit good shots.
