The Oklahoma State equestrian team dropped its first conference meet of the season Saturday, falling to top-ranked Baylor 15-4 in Waco, Texas.
In their first meet after taking over the No. 1 spot in the National Collegiate Equestrian Association polls, the Bears promptly handed No. 4 OSU its most lopsided loss in program history.
The meet opened with equitation over fences and reining. Baylor (9-2 overall, 3-1 Big 12) struck first, scoring four points in fences and never relinquished the lead.
The Cowgirls (4-2, 2-1) trailed 7-3 at the halftime break and never recovered.
