Since 2000, Oklahoma State is 129-12-2 in fall games. Halfway through their fall schedule, OSU has cruised to a 4-0 record, outscoring opponents 54-10.
The underwhelming competition has allowed coach Kenny Gajewski to experiment with different lineups. The opposition has presented little challenge for his players, but Thursday’s game will be different.
Competing against the USSSA Pride, a pro softball team, will likely be the biggest challenge yet in the Cowgirls’ careers.
The Pride have won three National Pro Fastpitch Championships since their inaugural season in 2009, including two of the past three.
