After the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team committed yet another turnover, Braxtin Miller sprinted back on defense to block TCU’s layup attempt.
Miller’s momentum carried her forward as she crashed into the first few rows of orange bleachers on the baseline midway through the fourth quarter. From there, the Cowgirls settled down, not surrendering a turnover for the rest of the game.
A big day from Vivian Gray and a number of hustle plays helped the Cowgirls overcome turnover issues, as they defeated TCU 75-71 Sunday afternoon in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Despite only having a single-digit lead at halftime, the Cowgirls (10-3 overall, 1-1 Big 12) were largely in control of the game for the first 20 minutes.
