Cowgirls open season with victory against Idaho

A tough three-point shooting night did not cost the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team when it took the floor for its season-opening 62-47 victory against Idaho.

OSU shot 5-for-33 from three-point range and did not finding a rhythm throughout the night.

In the absence of three-point shooting, the Cowgirls delivered a near-perfect quarter defensively going into halftime.

In the second quarter, OSU dominated the floor by stifling the Vandals' offense while holding them to six points in the frame.

The Cowgirls never trailed in the contest.
