The Oklahoma State women's basketball team travelled to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands for the Paradise Jam.
Its first test came against the best team in the country in No.1 ranked Oregon.
Unfortunately, the Cowgirls lost 89-72 despite an impressive second half.
After being down 47-27 at the half, the Cowgirls went toe-to-toe with the Ducks, outscoring them 45-42 in the second half.
Junior Natasha Mack led the team in points with 26.
Mack had another double double on the day, shooting 12-for-19 for 26 points and 13 rebounds.
Junior Vivian Gray was second on the team in scoring with 17 points.
