Oklahoma State had chances, but couldn’t capitalize on all of them.
The Cowgirls lost their final game of the Michele Smith Pediatric Cancer Invitational to Binghamton 6-3 on Saturday morning in Clearwater, Florida.
The majority of the Cowgirls’ scoring came in the third inning when Randee O’Donnell hit a two-out triple to knock in a run, and Hayleigh Galvan singled to tie the game at two runs apiece.
The only other OSU (5-5) run came when Kristin Reasnor singled down the left-field line to score Taylor Lynch.
The Cowgirls did miss some chances, though. OSU left nine runners on base, including stranding runners on first and second in the third and sixth innings.
