Cowgirls look to follow Lynch’s lead in Palm Springs

It’s a new season, but sophomore Taylor Lynch is sticking with her old mantra:

“See ball, hit ball.”

In the early years of Lynch’s career, her father said if she wasn’t hitting the ball consistently, it was probably because she wasn’t seeing the ball 100 percent.

The four-word phrase has paid dividends, as Lynch has followed up her impressive freshman campaign with a scorching start to the 2017 season.

Lynch ranks first on the team with 13 hits and sits at second with a .394 batting average. Lynch, who was named to the All-Big 12 Freshmen Team last season, has recorded a hit in each of Oklahoma State’s first 10 games.
