Oklahoma State junior softball player Vanessa Shippy attempts a hit and run against the USSA Pride Thursday night.
Oklahoma State fell 5-0 against the USSSA Pride, a professional softball team.
The Pride scored four runs in the first two innings, both of which senior Brandi Needham pitched.
Needham gave up five hits and four runs, though two were unearned. Two Cowgirl errors allowed runners to move into scoring position.
On her second pitch of the game, Needham allowed a double to centerfield.
With a 1-0 deficit in the first inning, Needham faced former Oklahoma standout Lauren Chamberlain, who approached the batters box with runners on second and third.
