The magic of Neal Patterson Stadium has seemingly worn off for the Cowgirls.
The Oklahoma State soccer team suffered its first loss in 18 games on its home turf, a streak that went back to last season, after the Cowgirls fell to Texas Tech 1-0 on Friday night. It was the first loss at Neal Patterson Stadium in the venue’s history.
For the entirety of the game, the Cowgirls (10-3-1) and the Red Raiders struggled to break down each other’s defenses. Between OSU and Texas Tech, there were only seven shots on goal, the fewest of any OSU game since the six shots on goal in the Cowgirls’ 2-1 victory against rival Oklahoma in the season opener.
