Cowgirls fall at Iowa State for second loss of season

Oklahoma State fell to Iowa State 49-42 in Ames, Iowa, marking the Cowgirls’ second loss on the season.

After leading by two going into the fourth quarter, the Cyclones (10-3, 2-0 Big 12) outscored the Cowgirls 19-9 in the final period.

The Cyclones shot only 22.6 percent from the field, but they were kept in the game by the Cowgirls’ 21 personal fouls, which led to 25 free-throw attempts by ISU compared to the five attempts at the line by OSU (11-2, 1-1).
