Cowgirls fade in second half in loss to West Virginia

The Oklahoma State women's basketball team couldn’t overcome a poor second half in its road loss to West Virginia on Wednesday night, falling 67-58.

The Cowgirls (10-4 overall, 1-2 Big 12) led by three at the half, but were outscored by the Mountaineers by 12 points in the third and fourth quarters combined.

OSU cut the WVU (10-4, 1-2) lead back down to four points with just more than four minutes left, but the Mountaineers held on to get their first Big 12 victory of the season.

Braxtin Miller led the Cowgirls in scoring with 16 points, followed by fellow sophomore Vivian Gray with 15 points and redshirt freshman Ja’Mee Asberry with 14 points.
