No. 2 OSU defeated North Texas, 2-0, on Wednesday, improving its record to 26-2 and pushing its winning streak to eight.
In a game where three pitchers would see the circle, OSU senior Lexi Kilfoyl got the start and pitched four innings, earning the win after striking out four batters and allowing three hits and one walk on 53 pitches.
“(She) pounded the strike zone, you know the drop (pitch) is hard on them,” OSU coach Kenny Gajewski said.
