Cowgirls escape Iowa State in overtime

Oklahoma State guard Karli Wheeler dribbles before a drive in the Cowgirls' 79-76 overtime victory against Iowa State on Jan. 20 in Gallagher-Iba Arena. She scored 11 points and had three assists.

If you can imagine it, it probably happened in Oklahoma State’s 79-76 overtime victory against Iowa State on Wednesday night.

Two teammates had more than 25 points apiece -- a career-high for one of them -- a freshman coming off the bench and scoring a crucial 11 points, and of course, overtime in Gallagher-Iba Arena.

OSU fought back and forth with the Cyclones, whom it lost to earlier this season, all game.
