The Oklahoma State equestrian team trailed by as many as three before it rode back to force a raw score tiebreaker on the last ride of the meet to upset Georgia 1593.8-1593.5 on Saturday at Totusek Arena in Stillwater.
“It was nerve-wracking,” OSU coach Larry Sanchez said. “You live and die with every ride, and one thing across the board, everybody rode at such a high level.”
With the meet tied at nine, Georgia reiner Lindsey Cheek edged Danielle Cohen 68.5-67.5 in head-to-head completion to give the third-ranked Bulldogs a lead.
