The No. 20 Oklahoma State softball dropped it’s final game of the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, 2-1, to Colorado State on Saturday.
The Cowgirls went 3-2 in the tournament to improve to 10-5 on the season. This is the best start to a season for the Cowgirls since 2014 when the team posted the same record through 15 games.
Logan Simunek pitched well, giving up two runs on three hits in six innings, along with two strikeouts. Simunek fell to 3-2 on the season following the loss.
The Cowgirls were bested by CSU’s Jessica Jarecki in the circle.
