The Oklahoma State softball team lost the second game 6-2 and the series against Oklahoma in Norman on Friday.
After losing 3-0 on Wednesday, the Cowgirls (33-21 overall, 12-5 Big 12) traveled to Marita Hynes Field at the OU Softball Complex.
The Sooners (46-8, 16-1) jumped out to an early 5-0 lead after Shay Knighten hit a two-run home run to score Caleigh Clifton.
Alex Edinger started things off for OSU, hitting a double to left field in the top of the third to score Rylee Bayless.
Vanessa Shippy followed, scoring Edinger with a double to center field that cut the Sooners' lead to 5-2.
