In the closing moments of the first half, the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team found its groove — only for it to be snatched away.
In the Cowgirls’ 77-58 loss to the Baylor Lady Bears, the tempo favored the visitors. It forced the Cowgirls into hurried shots they couldn’t convert and looked to rattle their confidence in the opening minutes of both halves. Cowgirls forward Natasha Mack said it’s frustrating when shots aren’t falling, but they are for the opponent.
“It’s difficult when you start slow to try and pick it up,” Mack said. “We need to come (out) off the bat starting strong and doing what we do best and not letting anybody affect our game.
