Cowgirls defeats Jayhawks for first away conference victory

The Oklahoma State women's basketball team has struggled many times on the road this season.

The Cowgirls lost their previous three away games and were yet to win a conference away game.

With the help of sophomores Vivian Gray and Braxtin Miller, the Cowgirls pushed past Kansas 72-62 on Saturday.

Gray and Miller have been the outright main scorers for the Cowgirls (12-4, 3-2 Big 12) this season. In all of the Cowgirls' games, either Gray or Miller led the team in points.

The Cowgirls led the entire 40 minutes of the game.

Redshirt freshman Ja'Mee Asberry started the game with back-to-back three-pointers.
