Cowgirls defeat Utah 4-0, Chris Young becomes OSU's winningest coach

Oklahoma State women's tennis' 4-0 victory over Utah on Thursday night was great. After the Cowgirls' second-to-last home match, they have a winning streak of eight.

But coach Chris Young stood as the winner because it was his 284th win with OSU, enough to make him the program's winningest coach, passing Julius Lubicz-Majewski.

"I think it's representative of the success we've had here," Young said.

To reach Young's milestone, Anastasiya Komar and Rose Marie Nijkamp won 6-2 on Court 1 against Utah’s Emma Kamper and Hayley Roberts.

On Court 2, OSU’s Kylie Collins and Marcela Lopez started their set off strong, setting the pace and coming out with the win 6-2 versus Sara Akid and Emma Calletta, giving OSU the doubles 1-0.
