The No. 1 Oklahoma State Cowgirl tennis team advanced to the semifinals in the Big 12 Championship after a 4-1 win over No. 8 seed UCF on Thursday night at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
Starting strong, Anastasiya Komar and Ange Oby Kajuru defeated Anique Kattenberg and Noel Saidenova, 6-2, on Court 1 in doubles.
Kristina Novak and Safiya Carrington locked in and won their Court 3 matchup, 6-2, against Donatella Guarnieri and Olivia Lincer, securing the doubles point for the Cowgirls.
The Knights did not make it easy for the Cowgirls as they moved to singles, yet they found a way to be successful.
