The Oklahoma State women's tennis team's courage and effort were on full display at the Greenwood Tennis Center this Friday to begin the ITA indoor national championship tournament.
The team entered its opening match of the weekend against UCLA shorthanded due to COVID-19 protocols and regulations. As a result, only four players took the court in the matchup Friday.
The Cowgirls quartet consisted of Lora Boggs, Daniella Medvedeva, Ayumi Miyamoto and Bunyawi Thamchaiwat.
In doubles play, the quartet for the Cowgirls had to forfeit court three, which meant UCLA had to only win one of the two remaining courts to secure the doubles point.
