Saturday’s game was the perfect birthday present for Loryn Goodwin.
Goodwin and the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team dominated the Kansas Jayhawks 92-63 on Saturday night in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
“It’s the best birthday present I could have got,” Goodwin said. “Kobe year.”
Twenty-four years and 25 points were only part of a career night for Goodwin, who also finished with nine rebounds and six assists.
“She’s had some special games, but I thought it was the best Loryn Goodwin has played,” coach Jim Littell said. “She scored the basketball, got it to open shooters and really made some great decisions.
