After beating Notre Dame 4-0 Saturday, The Oklahoma State women’s tennis team returned to the Greenwood Tennis Center for a matchup against Northwestern on Sunday. The No. 11 Cowgirls responded as they defeated the Wildcats 4-0 and won the ITA Kickoff Weekend championship match.
OSU's Viktoriya Lushkova, the face of the program, had a competitive match against No. 26 Alicia Barnett, which ended up unfinished. Lushkova won the first set, but she admitted she let it get a bit out of hand.
“I think I just let it go to 7-6,” Lushkova said. “I could’ve finished it earlier, but I wasn’t focused enough and was rushing it too much”.
