The Cowgirls continued their hot start to the season when they defeated Cowley College 19-0 on Tuesday night at home.
OSU came out swinging in the first inning. Sophomore Michaela Richbourg blasted a three-run home run to get the momentum started early. The hard-hit balls were only the beginning for the Cowgirls as Sydney Pennington capped the inning with a solo shot.
The Tigers couldn’t overcome the immediate deficit.
Freshman shortstop Kiley Naomi led the Cowgirls with three hits in four plate appearances, including a three-run home run to extend OSU’s lead to 12-0 in the third inning.
