The Oklahoma State softball team has set itself up to contend for the Big 12 title this season.
It defeated Baylor 5-1 on Sunday and swept the Bears on the weekend series to improve to 32-12 on the season and 10-2 in the Big 12. OSU’s 32 wins matches the season total in coach Kenny Gajewski’s first season, with 11 games to go in the regular season.
Samantha Clakley started in the circle, pitching 6 2/3 innings and allowing one run on five hits. She said she knew how important this game was for the Cowgirls’ conference standing.
