In its first road test of the season, the Oklahoma State women’s soccer team couldn’t keep its undefeated season alive.
Illinois defeated OSU 2-1 on Friday night in Champaign, Illinois, handing the Cowgirls their first loss of the year.
Coming off of three straight victories at Neal Patterson Stadium, including a match against top-five opponent Florida, OSU (3-1-0) looked to continue its winning ways on the road.
The Cowgirls got on the board first with junior Julia Lenhardt scoring off a cross from Kim Rodriguez, squeaking in the goal with only one second left in the first half.
