The opening-night victory against Oklahoma wasn’t good enough for coach Colin Carmichael.

Carmichael and the Oklahoma State soccer team are focusing on raising the bar this weekend when two competitive opponents will check in at Neal Patterson Stadium. OSU (1-0-0) will battle Lamar (2-0-0) at 7 p.m. Friday before competing against No. 5 Florida (2-0-0) at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

“After the OU game, what we just addressed was we didn’t really play that well,” Carmichael said. “We played hard, we competed and I was really proud of our kids and the way that they fought to win that game.
