The Cowgirls’ run in Kansas City has come to an end.
Oklahoma State dropped its Big 12 semifinal to Texas 64-57 on Saturday. The Longhorns were in control for much of the game. OSU’s largest lead was a single point and that lasted for all of 52 seconds. But OSU kept the No. 15 Longhorns honest, hanging around for much of the game. The Cowgirls just didn’t have that big run in them like they did against West Virginia on Friday.
After having a rough start to 3-point shooting Friday, the Cowgirls started hot against Texas. After an early miss, the Cowgirls made their next three 3s and went into halftime 5-for-10 from deep.
