The No. 5 Cowgirls got off to a winning start, outriding No. 6 TCU 12-8 Friday morning in Springtown, Texas, but fell to No.4 Baylor 13-6 the following afternoon.
OSU (6-3 overall, 5-1 Big 12) dominated TCU in Western competition, outscoring the Horned Frogs 8-2.
The Cowgirl reiners, who remain undefeated in the event on the season, got back to their winning ways after narrowly escaping Kansas State 2-1 in the last meet. Justine Peters, Danielle Cohen, Julia Purus and Ebba Lange scored to lead OSU to a 4-1 advantage in the event.
Peters earned Most Outstanding Player honors for her 71.
