A gauntlet awaits the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team.
Beginning with its first game at 11 a.m. Friday in Gallagher-Iba Arena against Incarnate Word, the Cowgirls will face an abundance of NCAA Tournament-caliber opponents as it fights to return to the Big Dance.
After missing out on the tournament last year for the first time since 2012, OSU and coach Jim Littell have put together a schedule that consists of nine teams that made the tournament last season, including national runners-up Mississippi State.
OSU will also play seven teams ranked in The Associated Press' Preseason Top 25, including No.
