Braden KingSomeone stepping up
It sounded like a plea. The message coach Jim Littell voiced Wednesday after OSU’s loss to K-State is someone needs to step up.
In the Cowgirls first two conference games this season, the second-leading scorer behind Lauren Fields has been held to 10 or fewer points. That hasn’t been cutting it when the second leading scorers on both opponents have scored 14 and 18.
Look to one of three sophomores, Taylen Collins, Lexy Keys and Neferatali Notoa, who all played well in certain stretches last season, to be the ones to answer Littell’s call.
