It's been almost two seasons since the Oklahoma State men's golf team won a tournament.
But that changed this week.
The Cowboys won the Jackson T. Stephens Cup in both stroke and match play, beating SMU with a score of 6-over and winning by four shots. Match play was the icing on the cake, as the Cowboys beat the Mustangs 3-1. The last time the team won a tournament was the 2023 Mountaineer Invitational. Head coach Alan Bratton said this victory is sweeter when it is in the home state.
“Anytime you win, it always feels good, and to win at home, in front of your friends and family, makes it even better.
