DELAND, FLA. — Jonathan Heasley picked a good time to have the best start of his collegiate career.
The sophomore threw a complete game and allowed no earned runs in the Oklahoma State baseball team's 6-1 victory over the South Florida Bulls on Sunday afternoon. The win extended the Cowboys' season at least one more game, which will be played Sunday versus regional host Stetson. First pitch is scheduled for 6:04 p.m.
Heasley looked nothing like the pitcher who came to Melching Field with a 6.72 ERA. He went the distance for the first time as a Cowboy, struck out seven and allowed just one extra-base hit to a USF team that boasted a collective .
