Cowboys struggle in NCAA tournament, four advance to quarterfinals

The NCAA wrestling championships has not been nice to the Oklahoma State wrestling team thus far. The Cowboys sent nine wrestlers to Pittsburgh, PA., and five of them fell the first two rounds.

Here is a weight-by-weight breakdown of how all nine Cowboys did.

125: No. 2 Nick Piccininni, 2-0.

Piccininni cruised through his two matches, winning by a combined 23-2. His next matchup will be against No. 7 Patrick Glory (Princeton) who has yet to give up a point thus far. Piccininni won the previous match against Glory in January, 9-4.

133: No. 1 Daton Fix, 2-0.
