Behind the netting in the indoor hitting facility, a bright orange wall showcases the Oklahoma State baseball team’s postseason history.
The years are listed in columns of white block numbers.
1981. 1982. 1983. 1984. 1985. 1986. 1987.
The Cowboys advanced to the College World Series seven times in a decade, but they traveled to Omaha, Nebraska, before the glory days of the 1980s. They have competed in the CWS 20 times, the fifth-most in the nation.
The last year on the wall is 2016, but the Cowboys are aiming to change that.
As Josh Holliday, OSU’s coach, sat in the indoor facility, he enthusiastically talked about changes.
