Michael Neustifter fired a home run, his first of the season, over the left-center field wall to give the Oklahoma State baseball team a lead it didn't surrender.

The Cowboys defeated West Virginia 7-4 on Friday night in Morgantown. Neustifter's home run was one of a pair of three-run homers that propelled OSU (19-12-1 overall, 8-2 Big 12) past the Mountaineers.

The Cowboys trailed 2-1 at the end of the first inning, but that changed in the third. Neustifter, a sophomore third baseman from Carrollton, Texas, brought in left fielder Jon Littell and catcher Colin Simpson to score with him.
