The Big 12 Championships at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa were in full swing Monday, as the Oklahoma State men’s golf team finished up a 36-hole day with a score of 574. The Cowboys find themselves right in the thick of things, as they are in third place after round two.
The Cowboys’ day didn’t begin as planned, as they posted a 295 score after round one. However, they were able to pull themselves together and go 1-under 279, which helped place them only five strokes behind leader Iowa State after the first day.
OSU had strong performances around the board in round two, no more impressive than Cowboy sophomore Viktor Hovland, who is leading the field.
