This might be good news for the Dallas Cowboys considering quarterback Brandon Weeden’s career has nowhere to go but up.
The team’s quarterbacks coach, Wade Wilson, had some glowing comments about its backup quarterback following several offseason workouts.
“I think he’s (Weeden) probably the most improved player,” Cowboys quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson said, via ESPN.com. “He just has a great understanding of the concepts, of the protections, calling the plays, all those things. He’s made a big jump this year.”
Normally a quarterback entering his fourth season is expected to make that jump in his career.
