Cowboys Pull Out Overtime Win

Oklahoma State pulled out a dramatic overtime win, defeating Kansas State and breaking a three-game skid. In fact, the Pokes had lost five straight conference games dating back to their home upset of Kansas January 19. Their last win was against Auburn in the Big 12/SEC Challenge.

The Cowboys came out hot taking an early 20-8 lead. After allowing Kansas State to climb back in, the Pokes took a 27-22 lead into the half.

Early in the second half, the Wildcats took the lead. Oklahoma State went through a scoring drought of 5:30. But Oklahoma State was able to get stops and almost won in regulation on a Jeff Newberry would-be buzzer beater three that was called back after review.
