Once the lights dimmed out on the track Saturday night, the Cowboys continued their streak of being dominant Big 12 contenders, and the Cowgirls overcame a loss of veteran leadership from a year ago to put up a solid scoring effort.
Oklahoma State ventured south to Lubbock, TX, for the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championships Feb. 28-March 1. The Cowgirls secured a top-10 finish, and the Cowboys placed second thanks to a flurry of first-place performances.
It began with the long jump, as Blair Anderson broke a tie for second place on his final attempt, ultimately landing him in the top spot.
