It wasn't pretty, but the Cowboys got it done.
OSU defeated Central Arkansas 27-13 at Boone Pickens Stadium on Saturday night in a game where the Cowboys struggled for three quarters.
The game started off with the Cowboys moving the ball to midfield, where quarterback Garret Rangel threw an interception to CAU linebacker Demetrius Charles on fourth down.
Despite Rangel’s early interception, the second-year passer recovered, tossing OSU’s first touchdown of the season to Brennan Pressley.
Alan Bowman replaced Rangel midway through the second quarter. The most experienced member of the Cowboys quarterback room threw for 80 yards on 24 attempts.
