For the first time since Jan. 28, 2018, the Oklahoma State wrestling team will enter a dual coming off of a losing.
The Cowboys had their 21-match win streak snapped against Lehigh last weekend.
One of their losses came at 133 pounds, where freshman Reece Witcraft was disqualified with a skin issue.
“A mistake was made (by the Lehigh doctor),” coach John Smith said, “We don’t put people on the mat if they’re contagious.”
However, Coach Smith said he thought his team wrestled well in the Lehigh and Drexel duals.
OSU looks to rebound this weekend against Minnesota, which is also coming off of a tough loss to Rider.
