The Oklahoma State's men's golf team finished in third place Wednesday for the second year in a row at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational golf tournament in Palm City, Florida.
The Cowboys, ranked third in the nation, finished with a total of 861, which was just two shots more than the champion Wake Forest’s tally of 859. Georgia Tech, the runner-up, finished with 860.
OSU placed four golfers in the top 25, with three finishing in the top 12.
Junior Kristoffer Ventura led the Cowboys individually, tying for fourth place with 213. Senior Zachary Olsen tied for 10th place at 214, Sophomore Hayden Wood finished tied for 12th place at 215, Freshman Viktor Hovland tied for 25th place at 219 and Sophomore Zach Bauchou wrapped up play at 226 and tied for 53rd place.
